Your activity stays on your device. DeskMode has no accounts, no analytics and no trackers - your sessions, history and health data never leave your device. The only data collected is what's needed to run your subscription, described below.
Your sessions and settings (weight, preferences, customisation) are saved only on your device using Apple's on-device storage. We have no servers and no copy of your data.
DeskMode Pro is a subscription (a free trial, then a recurring charge) sold through Apple's App Store. Billing is handled entirely by Apple - we never see your payment details. To manage subscription entitlements we use RevenueCat, which processes an anonymous app-user identifier and your purchase history on our behalf. RevenueCat never receives your activity, sessions or health data. You can cancel anytime in your Apple subscription settings.
DeskMode has no user accounts and does not ask you to sign in. The only Apple ID involved is your standard App Store account, used by Apple to process the subscription.
Goal and posture reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. They are not sent through any server.
Sessions started on the Apple Watch sync to your iPhone over Apple's encrypted device-to-device connection. They are not routed through any external service.
You can export all your data as a JSON file at any time from Settings. That file is created only when you ask for it and goes wherever you choose to save it.
DeskMode is rated 4+. Aside from the anonymous subscription data described above, it collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
